Experimental study on bending mechanical properties of moso bamboo

Moso bamboo, as an environmentally friendly material, has become a research hotspot in civil engineering circles, and its good mechanical properties make it have great potential applications. To take full advantage of moso series bending tests were carried out on bamboo pipes (RBP), hollow (HBP, without membrane) with concrete(BPC), analyzed such strength, flexural bearing capacity, deformation law, failure characteristics other test results. The results showed that the smaller diameter is, greater strength elastic modulus are; maximum strain BPC is 2.5 times HBP, distribution along cross section linear; RBP, show different pattern; there little difference between RBP HBP come from same similar limit modulus; capacity 2.4 1.7 times, composite structure effectively enhanced by concrete. can provide references for application landslide treatment, supporting foundation, engineering.
